Take a moment now and check in with yourself. Do you trust your body? Do you trust that this physical vehicle that you are in right now is able to heal itself? Slow down for a moment and really ask inside: Are you dependent on the "experts" around you to heal you or are you able to listen to the signals from your body and support the body in its healing process?
The body you are in is so wise, smart, and strong. You might not feel that way right now, you might be experiencing health challenges that are beyond anyone's comprehension. You may be experiencing discomforts that are years old but this body has gotten you here and it's time to celebrate that fact. You are here. You are alive and this body is your vehicle in this lifetime. Congratulations.
Now, I challenge you to look at the possibility that your body can heal itself and that your body has not failed you in this lifetime. Your body is trying to communicate with you and if you have followed the cultural norms of going outside of yourself to get help rather than looking within, it might be time to change.
- How do you learn to trust the body?
- Believe the body can heal itself
- Know beyond doubt the body is here for you to enjoy life
- Increase the joy in your life
- Give the body nourishing food, supplements, and kindness
- Create a support network
Feel overwhelmed by that list? Get quiet and ask what your body needs right now. Which of the five points hits you on the deepest level? Empower yourself to make a choice, make it happen and keep going. Most people will not do this. Shifting from trusting outside sources to trusting yourself is a fierce path and only you can do it. Have fun and enjoy the ride!
