Hi Catherine, can you tell us a little about yourself and how you got involved with natural products? Hi, I am honored and grateful to be a part of the WishGarden family. Thank you for this recognition! I'm a natural remedy enthusiast. The last 15 years I've researched herbs as nourishment and for their medicinal properties to assist with my mental health. Volunteering with terminally ill patients and working on myself, I found such fantastic natural ways to help heal us that I couldn't help but dedicate my life to it.
I recently transitioned to full time with my company, CLC Edition. I offer services on how to shop for beneficial products, make infused topical and edible products, as well as provide assistance in growing your own herbs. I found out about WishGarden three years ago while working at a spa. One massage therapist recommended Kick-Ass Immune when I was about to get a cold and I've been hooked ever since. Naturally I now add WishGarden tinctures in my products for an added herbal boost!
WishGarden has started an Ambassador Program which you are a part of — and you are the recipient of this month's Ambassador of the Month Award. How's the Ambassador work going? Wonderful! I've recommended these products the last three years before I was an official Ambassador so recently it's been pretty amazing now that I'm official. Getting a tour of headquarters, one-on-one time with the pros, and the ability to do events is my wish that came true! I'm excited and looking forward to the future events I'll be participating in!
It looks like you are pretty active on the social media channels. Which do you find most effective for spreading "herbal news"? I'm a visual person so I love Instagram. I find it's my most effective way to take pictures/videos and spread the news.
Natural products seem to be all the rage these days. Do you think we are witnessing a change in consumer attitudes towards the environment and natural products? I do. I witness the progression every day, especially when I talk about it with children. It's refreshing to see younger generations becoming more aware and active in participating for a healthier future. I'm doing my best to spread the awareness and inviting everyone to think about what products they're purchasing and their impact on our environment.
What is your favorite herb and why? That is a very tough one but I'd say sage. Sage is one of my favorite herbs to find on trails out here in Colorado. Smelling and rubbing the fresh leaf calms me instantly. I also love that it has so many beneficial and medicinal values.
Do you have a favorite WishGarden product? Also another tough one. I have to say it's a tie with Kick-ass Immune and Deep Stress. I love both of them too much to choose one!
